Bake Sale Yesterday

My Grandma TT organized and held a bake sale for me yesterday! My friends and I made signs and waved in customers to buy the delicious treats my Grandma and her friends made to help me raise money to get to IMTA!

Even though it was a little cold out (with the wind blowing), we ended up making about $80 in just a few hours.  Thank you everyone for helping out!

Here are some pics from the Bake Sale:

First Photoshoot

Pic of Me that I Edited to Look Like A Drawing
I did my first photo shoot ever about a month ago with Photographer Hollie ten Berge.  I will be sharing the photographs she took on the blog in different posts and eventually in a  photo album as soon as possible.

I'm making sure to label each photo taken by Hollie, so you'll know which ones she took. They are amazing!

In the meantime, please check out Hollie's website at www.hollietenberge.com and see if you can find the four pictures of me that she uploaded there!  I look different in each of them.

Three of them are in the Fashion section. In two of them, I am wearing a black bikini with a red, black, and white cover up that pretty much completely covers the bikini! Let me tell you, my parents were actually really glad that the bikini is covered up!

In the third one in the Fashion section, I'm wearing a navy blue shift dress, but it looks like a tank top in the picture.  The fourth photograph of me is in the Lifestyle section. I'm wearing a long flowing skirt, with a black sports top, and a flowing brownish color cover up.

I had a fantastic time at the photo shoot. At first I was a little shy, but everyone there was so nice and Hollie taught me a lot! I can't wait to do more photo shoots!

Thank you Hollie for doing such a great job and teaching me so much!

Mom and Dad: My First Sponsors!

My first sponsor and major supporters are my parents Brad and Emily Brewer. My mom has an online blog called My Inspired Life with Fibromyalgia and a Facebook Page for it called Inspired Living with Fibromyalgia.

Because it is an online blog and Facebook page, I can't really take a picture of myself in front of it to share, but I can share a picture of her blog and a link to it!

Here's a picture of my mom, my sister, and I at a wedding this summer.

Thanks Mom and Dad!  I love you!

Welcome to Living My Dream by Taylor Renee

Welcome to Taylor Renee's Living My Dream Blog!

Taylor Renee Headshot by Hollie ten Berge
This blog is all about me, Taylor Renee. I want to be a model and actress. I know it will be hard work and the odds are against a small town girl from Oregon, but I've got a great mother agent Image Modeling Development in Medford, Oregon already and have been selected to attend the IMTA conference in LA on January 2013.

I am really excited to attend the IMTA conference to try to find representation in some of the larger cities.  For a small town girl, this is an amazing opportunity to meet agents in the areas that obtain the most exposure and jobs in the modeling and acting industry.

Some very famous people got their starts at the IMTA conference in both modeling and acting.  Most people are more familiar with the actors, than the models, but I think they are all really talented.

My favorite actors and actresses that started at IMTA include Ashton Kutcher (a bunch of movies and tv shows including The Butterfly Effect, Punk'd, That 70's show, and Two and a Half Men), Jessica Biel (Seventh Heaven, Blade: Trinity, The Illusionist, and more) , Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins in Lord of the Rings), Allyson Stoner (a Disney star and costar in the Step Up dance movie) and Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen in Twilight series and other movies).

My favorite models who started at the IMTA conference include Mariah Strongin (currently in the Target commercial and has done campaigns for  Delia's, Teen Prom, and more.) and Branden Rickman (won Bravo's Make Me a Supermodel tv show).  Both Mariah Strongin and Branden Rickman started at the same mother agency as me too!

In order to attend the IMTA conference, I need to raise a lot of money.  Luckily, I live in a great community that tends to be really supportive. My family is also helping with plans for fundraisers including a concert, recycled can drive, bake sale, and more.  If you want to check out information on the IMTA conference, please click here.  As we do the fundraisers, I will post more information about them too.

If you are business owner or person who sees this who might like to donate, anyone who donates a $100 or more will get a line in the IMTA conference book, a post here with a picture of me at/or in front of your business, and a copy of the photo printed for you to hang on the wall at your business (if you'd like to).  This will usually count as an advertising expense, so your accountant may be able to write off a sponsorship donation!

I am starting this blog, with help from my mom, because I want to have a place to Thank the amazing people in my community for their support. I also want to share my journey as I continue working towards living my dream of being a model and actress.  I also want to be able to let people know about the fundraisers I'm doing right now and then later, hopefully, about the cool jobs I get as I get started in this competitive, but great industry.

I'm too young to do this without help and my mom is making sure that I am safe, so while it is great if you want to leave comments, my mom has it set to have comments needing to be approved before they show, so don't be surprised if they don't show up right away.

Thank you everyone for helping me start Living my Dream!
